Marshall Street Circle Day 11
Day 11-
No Progress on the circle but it must have been quick drying cement for the sign footings. The 4 new stop signs are up. Also added was a sign marking the location of the Marshall Street Neighborhood Watch Headquarters. Look out lawbreakers on Marshall, Adams, and Tulip we have our eye on you.

Amazingly, people are still driving right through the stop signs, even though they up and finished and LOOK like stop signs. Resistance to change, of course, seems to be one of the inherent traits of the indigenous population.
There is a fine line between ignorance and stupidity. Unfortunatly, we are endowed with both.
Street crime is one thing. But ongoing drug enterprise zones such as Tulip Alley could not operate as freely as they do without consent. Consent of the landlord, and consent of some people in government or the D.A.s' office. It is a simple matter to close down undesirable activities through public nuisance ordinances, or via the city suing the property owner for any number of infractions. But this has not, and will not happen while the current people in power remain in power. It isn't the police; it's their bosses.
