The Circle is Completed

With funds from a handful of neighborhood residents, another handful congregated on Labor Day and completed the planting of the Marshall and Adams Traffic Circle in about 3 hours time. Thanks to those who kicked in cash for the plants, soil and mulch, as the steadfast few who got up at the crack of down to finish it up.

The circle looks great. I have owned several properties on Marshall Street and always wanted to slow down and reduce traffic. The circle not only looks good but it works. No more speeding PAT buses and other vehicles. Thanks again to all those involved for their hard work and dedication to the neighborhood.

Yes indeed. We will email an accounting of the expenses and contributors to the HPLA mailing list in a day or so. But financial contributors were Bev & Jeff, Paula and Ralston, Ben and Bonny, Joyce and Amos, Linas, Betsy, Suzette, and Ralph and Angie. Work was done by Jeff, Ben and Bonny, Judy, and Paula, with moral support and the "look of observing management" provided by Linas, Ralph and Angie. It does look nice and we'll do all we can to keep it that way.

Now Sid and Chris, who were away at the time, have joined the list of contributors. THANKS!
