It turns out that even when the city speaks up, the City Council and City Manager just do whatever the hell they want anyway.
Petersburg city government is just a facade of pseudo democracy poorly disguising the facist stupidity.
When elections come for our city council reps, they should all go, save the one dissenting vote, Carter.
And then city council has the nerve to say that they can't put more money toward the school system because it would be fiscally irresponsible. I almost laughed out loud at the meeting but settled for rolling my eyes.
At least the kids will have the golf course, right? That's where the real learning takes place. I hope they have figured out how to mesh golf with SOLs.
